Please beware of purchasing from this company. I bought two items (bath and vanity unit) in June 2012 for delivery in August 2012, total value of nearly 1200 euro. I liked the fact that this was an Irish company and that I was able to speak to Mr McCarthy on the phone before purchasing. He seemed like a really genuine guy and certainly gave me no cause for concern. He promised to keep both items in stock until July/August when my builders were scheduled to renovate my bathroom. Although I was assured that both items were in stock the company failed to deliver on the scheduled delivery date. This was annoying since I had taken the day off work to receive delivery. When I called the company Mr McCarthy promised he would deliver the items personally the following Monday evening. That day I left work early to receive the delivery but yet again he failed to show up. Despite repeated attempts to contact Mr McCarthy via phone and email I received no response that evening. After numerous phone calls the following morning Mr McCarthy informed me that the vanity unit (worth nearly 600 euro) was water damaged and he gave me the option to take the damaged item or receive a full refund. I chose to take the refund as I didn´t want to take a damaged item. At this stage my builders were waiting to install the vanity unit so I had no choice but to go out (taking more time off work) and purchase another unit from another bathroom suppliers. Although Mr McCarthy did deliver the bath (which was in perfect condition) he failed to return the refund owed to me for the vanity unit despite numerous emails and phone calls. Three months down the line I have finally received a refund from my bank. I was lucky in that I paid by Visa (through paypal) and was able to request a chargeback from the bank. This company has caused huge stress and financial pressure by not returning the money I was owed. I would definitely not recommend purchasing from this company.
