Spiddal Acupuncture and Sports Massage is a warm and welcoming practice in the heart of Spiddal village offering treatment for a variety of health conditions.
Maura trained with the College of Integrative Acupuncture in Galway for three years, studying both 5 Element and 8 Principle acupuncture, and then undertook her postgraduate training at the China Beijing Internation Acupuncture Training Centre (CBIATC) - World Health Organization Collaborating Center of Traditional Medicine in China.
Maura is a registered member with the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association, the oldest and largest professional body for practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ireland, which means the highest standards of care and best practice are assured. As a member of AFPA all her treatments are approved by VHI, Laya Healthcare, Aviva and HSF Health Plan.
Maura also trained in ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage and offers Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage Therapy and Cupping Massage.
