Visit historical and cultural sites around Kilkenny including Kilkenny Castle, The Kilkenny Design Centre, Shee Alms House, The Tholsel, St. Mary’s Church, Rothe House & Gardens, The Courthouse (Grace’s Castle), St. Francis’ Abbey, The Black Abbey and St. Canice’s Cathedral and much more.
Self guided tours are also available. Bikes can be delivered to and collected from cyclist’s accommodation. Maps of popular routes, safety equipment, lock and puncture repair kit are all included in the price.

Guided Cycling Tours
Three guided cycling tours are available per day during the summer from customer’s hotels or a pre-arranged location in the city centre. The tour is approximately two hours and can be shortened or extended to suit all ages. It is a fun and environmentally friendly way to see all the attractions medieval Kilkenny has to offer if you are only visiting for a short period.
The Ultimate Kilkenny Experience
Take a 3 hour trip discovering the ancient Irish sporting heritage of hurling. Followed by a cycling tour of medieval Kilkenny, visiting historical and cultural sites (Perfect For Large Groups).
Self Guided Cycling Tour
To Dunmore Cave and Jenkinstown Park. Facilities include a picnic site, forest walks, deer park and a craft centre. The cycle is on mostly quite back roads and suits all cyclist abilities.
Summer Night Cycling Tour
The evening cycling tour run from May until Sept starting at 7pm each night. We use River Bank paths and backstreets so no need to worry about traffic.
Medieval Mile Cycling Treasure Hunt
Ireland’s Medieval Treasure Hunt maps take you around Kilkenny cities medieval winding streets visiting up to 19 of Kilkenny’s historical buildings.

You can rent or hire a variety of different bikes from us at very affordable rates, including mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, bike trailers, tow-alongs and children’s bikes . Your guide can also arrange delivery of bikes to your location or accommodation and collect them that evening. Maps of the locality and details of attractions will be provided with each bike. Full safety equipment is supplied including helmets, lights and high-visibility jackets. Insurance cover is also provided and included under Kilkenny Cycling Tours insurance scheme.
