My name is Paula and I am a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher with an honours degree in English and New Media from UL and a postgraduate 1st class honours degree in the teaching of English and CSPE from UCC. Proof of qualifications and references available on request.
I have a wide range of experience as a result of teaching all types of students over the last number of years at both Junior and Leaving Certificate Level. I have taught students with a range of learning disabilities. I also have experience in primary teaching and one-one tutoring and grind classes.My results and success rates are excellent and testimonials are available on request. I also have experience teaching in a very prestigious grind school. I have corrected the English state exams over the last number of years and have a lot of knowledge about what is required to achieve high results in the state exams. I taught two hundred and forty Leaving Certificate students in in a private school last year where my teaching methodology placed a huge focus on each student achieving their full potential and the best possible results.
I am available for one-one grinds and I am very familiar with the English syllabus and its requirements. I will tailor each grind to meet the student's needs. Comprehensive notes will be provided as well as homework, corrections and a detailed approach to answering exam questions. I can tailor study plans for students and provide them with tests to complete at home or during grind time. I am also available via my phone if any of my grind students have any questions at any time and I am more than happy to help them. As I have corrected the state exams numerous times, I am aware of what is required to obtain very good grades.
Grinds are 40 per hour in my house or yours (location dependent).
