At Dan-tien Complementary Health Studio we provide various forms of Acupuncture, Massage Shiatsu and Chinese herbs to those looking to improve their health, reduce stress, relieve pain, stop asthma or need help trying to start a family.
Dave Shipsey was the first acupuncturist to introduce Abdominal Acupuncture into Ireland and teaches it to Acupuncturists through his school Centreforce Abdominal Acupuncture. He has been using this new and very powerful form of acupuncture for almost 10 years because clients prefer it, as it is painless and more powerful than traditional acupuncture. It is particularly good for treating painful conditions such as Arthritis, Rheumatism, Migraine and Sciatica. It is also especially good at treating fertility and digestive problems, its is a powerful means of treating paralysis and other complications following Stroke (see www.dan-tien.com for more information).
Dave has specialised in women’s health issues since 2001 and is an affiliated acupuncturist to the Zita West fertility Clinic. He deals with all aspects of Women’s health including Menstrual problems such as PMT, Endometriosis, Irregular / painful periods, fibroids, PCOS and infertility. Dave is a founder member of Dublin’s first integrated fertility clinic “Achieve Fertility”. He also treats conditions that may occur during pregnancy including Back ache, Pelvic dysfunction, pre-eclampsia, high/low blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome and many more. He also helps induce labour to ensure a natural delivery and works on post natal complications such as Mastitis and post natal depression.
