I never ran out of a place so fast...... I went in enquiring about a new Dacia and was offered €3000 trade in for a my 2009 Chevrolet Lacetti Elite, The guy said that normal tarde-in prices are not applicable against the Dacia as it is €7,000 cheaper than the Nissan Quashqai. Well in that case I'd prefer to buy the Nissan or Skoda Rival.....alarm bells surely rang when I thought of the response one would get in a couple of years when trying to offload one of these Dacias. Depreciation of other models will seem very mild when one thinks of disposing of one of these Dacias, I had €8,700 cash as cost to change which would have meant a lowish €6,700 allowance for my own. This would have been within the trade price guide. Yet these guys' offer of €3,000 was an absolute insult and I'll know that it's one garage I'll never be able to do business with.
