Basecamp is an outdoor adventure store with a community focus. We are a group of hikers, bikers, climbers, skiers, mountaineers, and skydivers with a drive for promoting the outdoor lifestyle, whether it's with customers in-store or with our regular social events, guests speakers and exhibitions. Situated in Dublin City center we are a provider of top quality technical outdoor brands to all adventurers. When considering your own adventure, our helpful staff will be happy to advise on whatever your expedition may be. We are all end-users and avid mountain lovers ourselves, and we'll ensure you're not disappointed!
We stock a variety of high-quality brands, providing an excellent selection of outdoor equipment and apparel. If there's something youíre looking for but can't find, ask us. We love being able to provide the gear you need (or just want, which we can relate to!). In fact, we special order products for our customers all of the time.
At Basecamp we support the Irish outdoor industry by stocking a wide range of Irish brands in addition to our collections from leading international suppliers. We like to stay involved with the outdoor community, sponsoring events such as the Moonlight Challenge in aid of the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team, along with individual athletes and expeditions such as one staff member's Seven Summits journey. We also support Irish trails, Leave No Trace, An Gaisce and Mountaineering Ireland, as well as many college clubs/societies and adventure centers around the country.
